We are a for-profit web site but it is my personal obligation to do my part in helping to bing forward the teachings of Jesus Christ. I have said this many times over the years No matter what you believe as Faith goes or who you choose to call your Higher Power, Jesus Christ must be remembered as the single most unselfish man while he was upon this earth.
If we stop and actually think about what he did for all of Man-Kind that to me is a unselfish man, it is simple for me as I think of his death and the pain he must of felt while being nailed to a cross well that alone is enough to convince me I was on the right path when I found my faith. 20 years I spent in our Emergency Services you can say I have seen pain and over this period I have witnessed a lot of unselfish acts from my fellow man,but never have I been witness to the events that took place in Jesus's tme period.
Today and especially right now in my families lives we are trying to deal with Man and his selfish ways , every morning when I wake up I have to take a deep breath and ask Father in Heaven to give me the power to be patient and forgiving to the people who are harming us. I am then reminded of what Jesus said as he hung from a wooden cross he said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they do" I would be lying if Isaid I could repeat that same verse every time but I do try :) Point is I am not the Son of God and I don't have to make Christ like sacrafices or decesions , all that is required of me is to follow 10 simple rules and believe that Jesus did die for my sins and that of my fellow man this is a small price for me to pay for Enteral Life.
